FRED DELZELL
Fred Delzell, 80, of Fayetteville died Thursday in a local hospital. Born Dec. 25, 1901 in Uniontown, the son of Robert and Cordelia Delzell, he was a member of the First Christian Church. A retired worker and professional agriculturist, he was a graduate of the University of Arkansas and received his masters degree from the University of Minnesota.
He was also a member of the Razorback Campers.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mabel Delzell of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Marion (Bobbie) Wasson of Siloam Springs, and Mrs. Carlos (Betty) Solis of Fayetteville; a sister, Mrs. Verna Hubbard of Mount Ida, and five grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the chapel of Nelson's Funeral Home with burial in Fairview Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church or the American Cancer Society.
