MABEL J. DELZELL
Mabel J. Delzell, 97, of Fayetteville died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2000, at the Butterfield Trail Nursing Center in Fayetteville. She was born Sept. 2, 1902, in Rudy, the daughter of Walter and Mary Adele Henderson Long.
She attended school in Winslow, and graduated from Fort Smith High School. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Fayetteville and a pioneer resident of Butterfield Trail Village.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Bobbie J. and Marion Wasson of Fayetteville; a daughter, Betty Solis of Fayetteville; four grandchildren, Debbie Wasson of Estero, Fla., Alan Solis of San Jose, Calif., Carolyn Solis of Dallas, and Michael Solis of Flagstaff, Ariz.; and two brothers, Jack Long of Mount Pleasant, Mich., and Cy Long of Clay City, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her husband Fred Delzell in 1981.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb 3, 2000, at the Butterfield Convocation Room with Dr. James Johnson officiating.
