Mary Kasiah Haden
(7 Dec 1810 - 9 Aug 1891)
Article from "Ozarks Mountaineer" states that the two aunts and uncle of George Douglas Haden also came to MO in the winter of 1839/1840.
Mary K. Sprout appointed guardian for Hester Ann, John and Ellen Sprout, minors. Rezin Haden and Joseph Haden gave security. [I'm not at all sure there were three children. Logan County wills from grandparents, uncles refer only to Hester and "John" Ellen, but she is female! This may have been a case of misinterpretation and should have read Hester, John Ellen]
William Sprout, brother of John Sprout had no children. Will leaves property to nieces & nephews, ie: Hester Sprout, John E. Sprout, William Gilbert, James M. Brien. [Conflict: In the abstracts the Will shows John E. Sprout, nephew. Equity Case shows John Eller Sprout, niece]
1840 Census. Greene Co MO

Joel H. Haden married John DeBruen to Mrs. Mary Sprout, Aug 1, 1844. Appeared in "The Springfield Advertiser" on Aug 6th.
