Wade Pippin

1850 Census Wade was living with James Pippin and his wife Alice. James was a son of Willis Pippin & Millie Woodfork. Wade was actually a half-uncle to James although 6 years younger.

Wade served in the CSA, in 28th TN Infantry Regiment. He was captured in Jackson Co 26 Apr 1862 and transferred as a prison of war to Camp Chase, OH. 25 Aug 1862, he was sent to Vicksburg to be exchanged.

After his Civil War records, no other records have been found. There is no marriage record and no record of a pension claim by him or a widow. He may have been a casualty of war.
