James M. Haden found in Grantees Index to Real Estate Conveyances of Bedford Co VA beginning in 1825. Grantor was Abner Anthony. Deed Book 19, p.253.

Abstract of War of 1812 Pension Files for William Farmer, Campbell Co, V, 1853
Declaration made in Campbell Co, VA 9 May 1853, when he was age 56. He stated he served under Capt. James M. Haden in the 3rd Regt of VA Militia under Col. Wm. C. Dickenson. He was drafted at Campbell Courthouse, 27 Aug 1814 for 6 months and was discharged at Ellicots Mill, 1 Dec 1814. Declarion made to obtain bounty land. Also made second declaration, 24 Apr 1855. He received Warrant #52472 for 80 acres, and warrant #15444 for 80 acres. He also made declaration on 4 Oct 1871, stating his wife was Martha Willard to whom he was married about 1835 in Campbell Co by Henry Finch, minister.

My Micajah that I am looking for was married to Susan Lane. I have all of his Pension Papers # 23900-80-53 what ever that mean? but what I am looking for is his enlistment paper I am trying to find out who is his mother and father.
He married Susan in Campbell I don't know if be for he enlisted or after. Both were born in 1790 in Appomattox
He enlisted in Capt James M. Haden company for six month Aug 30 to Dec 1816 and was discharge in Ellisville Mills Maryland on or abt 1 day Dec
