Alice Mae Pippin

Alice & Joseph Pippin had eight children. After his death she married (2) Martin Luther Mathis who was eighteen years younger than she and younger than her eldest child by Joseph.
On 2 Sep 1884, suit was filed against Mathis and others for partition of the land that had belonged to Alice's first husband. The lands were partitioned by deed on 17 Mar 1888. The complaint was probably filed shortly after Alice remarried. Alice & Martin had two daughters.
