Died 17 Aug 1989, St. Vincents Hospital, Indianapolis, Marion Co. He was born 10 May 1901, Boone Co, IN. His residence was 675 Ford Rd in Zionsville, Boone Co. He had been a teacher in the public schools and was widowed. Father was James Haron; mother Zarelda Clements. The informant was Nancy Stem, daughter, of 305 W. Oak St. in Zionsville. Buried Salem Cemetery in Boone County, 21 Aug 1989. He died of cancer of the colon and gastrointestinal bleed.

Walter Harmon rites Monday
ZIONSVILLE, Ind. - Services for Walter H. Harmon, 88, a retired teacher, will be at 10 am Monday in Flanner & Buchannan Zionsiville Mortuary. Calling will be from 2 to 8 pm Sunday.
The widower of Myrtle Harmon, he died Thursday.
Harmon taught history 43 years at Zionsville High School He retired in 1967.
