Ivan C. Harmon died 24 Aug 1992 at Parkwood Nursing Home, Lebanon, Boone Co. of cerebrovascular infarction. His residence was 840 W. Poplar in Zionsville, Boone Co and he had been an Inspector for the US Govt. He was born 25 Mar 1894 in Boone Co. Widowed. Parents were James M. Harmon and Zerelda Clements. The informant was Betty A. Gregory, 1025 W. Poplar, Zionsville, his daughter. He was buried August 26th, Salem Cemetery, Boone Co.

ZIONSVILLE, Ind. - Services for Ivan C. Harmon, 98, will be at 10 am Wednesday in Flanner & Buchanan Zionsville Mortuary with calling until 8 tonight. Mr. Harmon who died Monday in Parkwood Nursing Home, Lebanon, was a federal government inspector several years, retiring in 1964. He was a member of Zionsville Christian Church, Zionsville Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite and Murat Shrine. He was an Army veteran of World War I and was a member of Zionsville High School's first basketball team. He was the widower of Jessie Merle Herdrich Harmon. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery. Survivors: daughter Betty A. Gregory; son Robert Harmon; brother Guy Harmon; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
