Nickname "Polly" and evidence of first marriage found on GenConnect. The Bradshaw research did not have the daughter Caroline Foard who married Hezekiah Turner, but listed three sons: Robert W. Foard, Osborne Foard, and Dr. J. F. Foard.

William Haden was Bondsman for Polly's marriage to John Ellis, 14 Nov 1809, Rowan. George Dunn, Witness. [probably William, son of Joseph & Margaret Maxwell]

Second marriage to John Foard: Bond date is 12 Jul 1817. Ezra Allemon was Bondsman, Nanny Roberts, Witness.
