Thomas Howell
(1843 - 1929)
The "History of Crawford County" says Thomas Howell gave land for a church and schoolhouse to Hickory Grove (Uniontown).
Joined Clarks Regt, Arkansas Infantry, Confederate Army. He was captured, paroled and exchanged for Union prisoners at Pilot Knob, MO.
In the Census of 1870, Thomas and Mary seem to have Henry age 6, and Manda age 1.
