Apparently, the Williams had to file suit against her brothers Joseph and William Haden, for distribution of her father's estate. There is a final settlement by the brothers as executors of Joseph Haden. T. C. Williams, wife of B. G. Williams is listed as one of the heirs, residence as Montgomery Co, Ala. Then there is a receipt signed by B. F. & T. C. Williams for $3684.58 in full satisfaction of a claim as ordered by the Probate Court of Macon County. The settlement was dated 5 Apr 1862, the receipt on 13 March 1863.
