Individual Details
Elizabeth "Nar-nee" Ross
(Abt 1770 - Bef 1851)
Elizabeth "Narnee" Ross was born some 20 years before the famous Cherokee Chief John Ross. John Ross was the son of Irishman Daniel Ross and a Cherokee wife. Some have tried to make her a daughter of Chief Ross but this is not possible.
Asbill research gives Narnee's father's name as Gar-li-gar-lo-ers-gar and her mother as War-gi-tsi. From a Family Group Record published in "The Asbill Family Newsletter", Spring, 1998
