For the sum of 5 sh sterling, sells all that tract or Neck of land of 75 acres in North Farnham Parrish, adjacent line of William Smith & John Kencheloe, which land was conveyed by David Berrick to the sd Nathaniel Thrift and his heirs by deeds of Lease and Release dated 23 and 24 June 1718. Agreeable to Order of Richmond County Court, 2 Sep 1776, we have divided the estate of William Thrift dec'd according to his Will and possessed each claimer with their part of the same, having in the hands of William Thrift, 92#'s, 12sh cash for the Legatees above.

A will in Richmond Co. for John Purcell, dated 19 Mar 1797, probate 1 Dec 1800, recorded in Will Book 9, p.138 - mentions a daughter Margaret Thrift. She was likely the wife of one of William's or Nathaniel's sons - but I have no idea which one.
