Land patent in Schuyler County MO 10 Oct 1854 to Richard Morton. May be this one as the Mortons are known to have gone by their middle names. Doubt that father was taking on more land at his age.
I believe this was the Richard Morton in Jasper Twp, Crawford Co AR in 1860. He was age 52, a carpenter, b. KY. Eliza was age 57, b. VA. Mary J. age 25, b. KY. Urthusa [Susan] age 19, Richard age 15, Mila age 10, were born in MO. Jackson T. Morton, age 23, b. KY, a nephew, was living with the family.
