I am not absolutely sure this Thomas and William Johnson are brothers but they would seem to be given the marriage record of Thomas when William his brother was his guardian and the Will of William making Thomas Johnson one of the executors.

Thomas Johnson made a nuncupative Will. Property to be wife's during her lifetime and then to be equally divided between the children. Wit: James Stevenson.

I James Stevenson being of lawfull age and being at Thomas Johnsons in his last illness and a few days before his death and he being in his right mind and senses and being in conversation with him he said Johnson observed that he had made a will some time back and he observes that he did not like it and he said lose his name of and he said Johnson observed that his will and desire was that his wife should have all his property during her natural life and to care her children as she can and at her death the hole property to be thrown together and on equal division to be maid between his children.
Logan Co Court Orders; Book 7, p.203; Jan Term 1820. Nancy Johnson, widow of Thomas Johnson, dec'd who died about the 15th of Nov last. During the last illness and about 3 days before his death at his residence in Logan Co, the said Thomas Johnson made his noncuperative will. Nancy refused administration; granted to Benjamin Temple.
On 21 Feb 1820 the property was appraised by Gabe Lewis, Presley Morehead, John McCarley. Administrator was Benjamin Temple. Not until 2 Jan 1826 was a sale held for part of his perishable estate.
On 13 Mar 1834, sons-in-law Peyton M. Lyon and Samuel S. Perkins filed a case against the widow regarding the slaves. All 10 children listed here are named in the case.
