Item: My will is that my son Obed Noland, and Nathan Young, I appoint them Executors of my Estate.
This I make and ordain to be my last Will and Testament as witnessed by my hand and seal this seventeenth day of March, in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and four (1804).
Signed William Noland
Signed and sealed in the presence of Robert Dunlop, Joseph Stanley, Joshua Samsk, and Hiram Noland.

Note from Ancestry tree: Tradition states that there were seven Noland brothers that fought in the Rev War - one of whom died in 1780 and would not have been mentioned in the above will.
NOTE: There are 7 sons in the will - so for that to be true, there wold have originally been 8 sons - one of whom did not fight in the Rev War, perhaps too young... Could this unidentified soldier been the husband of my widow, Clarinda Noland? but it looks like he would have left her something as the widowed wife of his son?
