There are two marriages for a William Poor in Goochland Co. One was to Molly Sampson, 17 Sep 1771, and seems a bit too early to be the marriage of the William known to be born in 1765. Another recorded marriage was for William Poore to Judith Sampson on 15 Aug 1785, and seems most likely to be the younger William, son of Thomas & Elizabeth Moseley Poor. That leaves the possibility that William, son of Robert Poor, was the one who married Molly Sampson.
