Robin Poor was a witness to the will of Elizabeth Lewis, 8 Mar 1784. John Poor, probably his son, was also a witness.

Widow's Pension W8520. John Poor enlisted from Goochland Co VA in Feb of 1778 and served a year as a private. About Aug of 1778, he was taken ill with with a fever, was sent to a hospital and did not return home until a year after the discharge of his company. He married, Jane, her surname not given, 21 Oct 1788. He died Garrard Co KY, 27 Nov 1817.
Jane, widow, was allowed pension on her application dated 22 Nov 1838 - she was living in Garrard Co. Son Robert C. Poor, also of Garrard Co, desposed at his residence on 30 Apr 1839. He was 31 years old the previous February. He had before him his Father's family record which recorded his Father's marriage and the age of all the children of John and Jane Poor. The record had for some years been in the hands of his father's administrator, but recently in the hands of his mother Jane Poor He stated he couldn't attest to the handwriting but believed it be correct in every particular and he attaches the same as part of his deposition.
John Poor and Jane Poor his wife was married 21 October 1788.
