Mrs. Ellen Motes Died at Hospital Tuesday
Mrs. Ellen Motes, age 57, died at the Central Alabama Hospital in Clanton Ruesday shortly after noon. She was the wife of Charley R. Motes of New Cedron community. The remains were buried in Walnut Creek cemetery Wednesday morning.
....Mrs. Motes is survived by her husband and eight children - Ed Motes of Clanton; Mrs. Teresa Williams, wife of Alphus Williams of near Billingsley; Calvin Motes, at home; Mrs. Lilla Isball, wife of Buck Isball of Columbiana; Miss Mabel Motes, at home; Misses Eugenia and Eudora Motes, twins: and Hosea Motes. There are two children dead.
