Marten Wyckoff

(1663 - 26 Feb 1707)



Marten was a member of the Reformed Dutch Church of Flatlands in 1697, appeared on the assessment rolls of Flatland in 1683, and took the Oath of Allegiance in Gravesend in 1687. On 13 August 1683 he purchased plantation-lot 19 and buildings therein in Gravesend from John Tilton, Sr. Marten died about 1698/99 in Gravesend. His will, dated 27 September 1698, was proved 26 February 1707/08.
