Francisco, interest of $1000. Any residue to be divided between Helen and F. H. Comstock.

The will was declared void since the only witnesses were Helen & Frederick, the principal recipients of the estate. Mary Duffies quit claimed all her interest in the estate to Helen & Frederick. Helen took on a Mortgage, Frederick received the land - jointly quit claiming other interest. The court order that Nellie be paid $1000.00.

Sylvester Comstock died in this city at his late residence, 1029 College Ave, between the hours of nine and ten, Thursday, Nov 14, 1889. The deceased was born in Williamstown, New York, May 14, 1809, and was married Dec 29, 1829 to Angenette Heath in New Haven, NY. His wife died four years ago this month. Nine children were born to them, three of whom, with two grandchildren, survive. Mr. Comstock cam to this county in 1844, settling in the town of Mt. Pleasant, where he resided until within a few years, having removed to the city. He has held many offices of trust in the town where he resided and was respected by his associates as an honest and upright citizen.
