"Uncle Jim" Wyatt Buried Last Monday
Succumbed to Heart Attack Last Sunday Morning about 11 o'clock.
Funeral services for James Madison Wyatt, age 64 years, were held at Providence Church, Beat 16, Monday afternoon, Feb 24th at 2:00 o'clock...
The body of Mr. Wyatt was found dead in his boat at Crumpton's Camp on Walnut Creek about noon Sunday and after a brief coroner's inquest, the cause of death was attributed to hear failure. The body had been dead about an hour or an hour and a half when first discovered by Ruben Popwell and a party who had driven down to the camp.
The deceased is survived by two sons, W. M. Wyatt of Montevallo and Clanton, and T. E. Wyatt of Clanton; two daughters, Mrs. Jesse Baker & Mrs. Dalton Bice, both of Concord community. There are two brothers living, Ruben F. Wyatt of Walnut Creek community and T. G. Wyatt of Friendship community; two sisters, Mrs. John Maddox of Clanton and Mrs. W. W. Robinson of Providence community.
Within two miles of where he died, James M. Wyatt was born Jan 19th, 1872. His father, General Fracis Marian Wyatt, died 35 years ago; his mother Mrs. Jane Popwell wyatt, died 7 years ago. His wife, Pharriba Wyatt died in 1923.
I believe by 1930, daughter Alice had married Jessie Baker. Edna Wyatt is living with her and seems to be her child.

Ancestry gave many hints to a William McDaniel Wyatt, born in Oct 1892 - but this man's death record gives his father as William Wyatt and mother as Mary Robinson. Of course the informant may not have known - he had moved away from Chilton County. I believe this really is the son of James and Fariby.
