Mary Ann and her sister Elizabeth that married Jesse's brother Alonzo were likely the daughters of a John Kuglar whose estate records are said to be in Fairfield Co, SC - he died about 1814. John's wife is believed to be Margaret Ann Carren.
Other siblings possibly:
J. David Kublar, b. abt 1800, who married (1) Milly Wingard and (2) Frances Roberts, 20 Mar 1828, Henry GA. David died 1892, Carroll GA.

Mary Kuglar Morris's mother, Ann Caren Kuglar, is said to have ridden horseback from GA., likely Henry Co., to Coosa Co., to see her daughter, Mary Morris, when she (Ann Caren) was 90 years old. Ann Caren spoke Dutch and lived to be more than 100 years old.

John Kuglar is said to be the son of the immigrant Matthew (Matthias) Kublar who arrived in Charleston, 2 Oct 1752 aboard the "Snow Rowand", Capt. Arthur Fran/Tran. Matthew is said to have arrived with daughter Eva, 8 and son Matthias, 4. He married a lady named Catherine after his arrival. Matthew is said to have been granted 150 acres, Dutch Fork SC and I found the grant at the South Carolina Archives website. The precept was dated 29 Nov 1752 and it was surveyed as a square tract on the North side of the Saludie, bounded on all sides by vacant land. Certified 17 Apr 1753. The sketch of the 150 acre tract showed a path intersecting "Path to Saludy ford from Broad River".
