Sallie Dixon married John J. McKinzie, 23 Oct 1877, Grayson Co, TX. Yet she was counted in her mother's household in 1880.
The 1880 census has this entry in Fannin Co, Prec 1, Hh 354, but it doesn't match too well - John McKinzie, age 21, b. MO, "Allie", 19 , wife, b. AR, her parents b. TN. No children shown and they should have had a baby girl, Martha.

Sallie McKinzie then married R. W. Conner, 18 Mar 1888, Fannin Co, TX,

Sarah Dixon, daughter of John and Susannah married Walter Conner. In 1880 she was still at home with her mother, but by 1900, she was a widow, apparently for the 2nd time.

TX [I found no evidence of this son ever living with his mother in the earlier censuses - born say 1883 if he was 47 - since she had remarried by 1900, perhaps he had left home. I did find a John D. McKinsey boarding with the Neal family in Fannin Co; birth given as Jul 1880.]
Martha J. Hunnicutt, dau, age 51, Divorced, b. TX [this would be a birth year of 1879 - and in 1880, Sallie was shown living with her mother and no child listed. I've seen this before, when parents gave a child's name although they were married and gone from home - perhaps misunderstood the enumerator's questions.]

Apparently this accounts for the three children of Sallie - John & Martha apparently by John McKinzie, Arthur by Walter Connor.


I think this is daughter Martha, but the information about her children doesn't seem to match very well through the years - her age and place of birth is consistent.
