Logan Co Guardian Records:
Joseph Offutt was guardian of Otha, L. and Wm J. Haden. The date of the first settlement is noted as 19 Mar 1868 - each received almost $10,700.00. There is a note that Jos. Offutt was dead, the estate settled in Simpson Circuit Court. Joseph was Elizabeth's brother married to Thomas Hayden/Haydon's sister.

Married Lucretia J. Reed, 29 Sep 1868. She died 20 Nov 1888.

Kohlhepp & a lot belonging to estate of John Mahin, dec’d and on the East by James McCarney, being same lot deeded to Wickware by Thomas Mahin 1 Dec 1865, recorded in DB N,p.334. 2nd on SW portion of town between the Russellville & Springfield Roads & fronting both roads, being same conveyed to V. Wickware & James W. Wickware on 28 Oct1867 by Irene Whitesides & husband T. J., rec in DB O, p.310.
