Thomas and Elizabeth were 2nd cousins, once removed. He descends from a Thomas Haydon, born 1698, Northumberland County, VA and died 1783, Spotsylvania County. This is a very different family from that of William Haden who died about 1819 in Logan Co KY, descendant of Anthony Haden of Goochland County, VA. Y-DNA has proved beyond any doubt that these are totally unrelated families although descendants of both lived near each other in Kentucky and Missouri.

Thomas is buried in the Haydon Plot, Troy, Woodford Co, KY.
