First wife was Diana Newell (Nevell) according to family tree on FamilySearch. They married 3 February 1836, Pulaski Co KY. She died 17 Oct 1853, Pulaski Co, KY and is buried Mount Zion Methodist Cemetery, Science Hill, Pulaski Co.

A Uriah Ashley married Polly Ann Robinson, 23 Aug 1855, Casey Co KY. He was age 40; she did not give her age. Uriah listed as born Pulaski County, Polly in Casey Co - their residence was Casey Co. Joshua Goddy, Minister of the Gospel.

Parents are listed as Uriah Ashley and Dianah Nevell, both born Pulaski Co, KY. The widow, Mrs. S. A. Ashley of Stanford KY was the Informant. Buied at Lancaster. (Garrard Co, KY)

Texas Death Certificate #23006 for Emma (must be Artimesia Ashley) Adams of Rt. 2, Sherman, Grayson Co, TX, where she had lived for three years. Died of apoplexy and senility, 6 May 1944. She was age 88, widowed. Born 17 Sep 1855 in Louisville, KY. Father was Uria Ashley; mother Polly Ann Roberts - both born in Louisville. Mrs. Lee Wilson was the informant. She was buried Belew Cemetery.

Texas Death Certificate #51650 for William Green Ashley, died in McKinney, Collin Co, TX on 13 December 1928 of pneumonia. He was born 9 Apr 1847 in Kentucky and was married. His occupation was carpenter. Parents were Uriah Ashley, b. Indiana and Diana Newell. Mattie Mae Ashley of 1011 Pine St, McKinney, was the informant. Buried Dec 14th (place not readable)
