Early Town Records of Providence, Vol IV, p. 147: "Thomas Comestock & Mercy Jenckes (the daughter of William Jenckes) both of the Towne of Providence in the Colony of Roade Island, etc; were both lawfully joyned together in Marriage at sd Providence on the 9th day of July Anno: 1713; per Richd Browne, Justice of Peace."

Vol. IX, p.180 March ye 10th, 1707. Thomas Comestock of ye Towne of Providence....hath taken up a Stray horse ...Apprized at five Pounds.
Vol IX, p.163 November the 9th 1714. Tho. Comestock gave notice that he had taken up two stray steeres.
Vol. IX, p.11 October ye 28th 1715 Thomas comestock of Providence in ye Colony of Rhoad Island ...had taken up a stray hiffer Calf.
Vol IX, p.16 29 Oct 1716. Jury to Lay out a high way from a Pond called the Grate Pond to the grate meadow hallow [now Lonsdale Ave from Scott's pond to Main St. in Pawtucket] "Crassing Thomas Comstocks feild on the East side of his Barn the sd Comstock allowing the Land freely for said way through his Land there"

He is likely the Thomas Comstock on a list of freemen, West Greenwich, 1748. He may have been on a list in Warwich, 1747.
Left Will June 10, 1761; proved Oct 3, 1761. West Greenwich. Bequests to sons Job, Thomas, William, and daughters Patience, Susanna, Esther, Lydia Scott, grandson Charles, eldest son of dec daughter Sarah, and wife Mercy.
