Douglas P. Haden

(Bet 1800 and 1805 - Bef Nov 1836)

Douglas P. Haden is not placed as a son of Billy D. in the Haden publications. However, Billy D. certainly showed young males in his household beginning in 1810 and he had been married to Elizabeth Ham for several years.

Here is the earliest appearance of Douglas P. Haden I've found so far in the Rowan Co. records.

I do not know where Douglas got this land - I did not find a previous deed to him. He is apparently age 21 since he can sell land. Possibly he inherited from his mother's family? More research needed.

Douglis P. Haden married Elizabeth Callaway, 7 Apr 1832 in Davidson Co, NC. John W. Haden [I suspect this was Jas. W. Haden or it could have have been another unidentified brother] was bondsman., Robert Foster, witness.
