Eleanor "Ellen" Whitsitt
(1780 - Mar 1816)
Died in the 36th year of her age. Mar 1816 ..according to DAR records.
[I believe Ellen was alive as late as 1818 - her husband participated in the emancipation of Isaac Whitsitt, her father's slave and there is her signature as a witness on a deed.]
The Logan Co KY Cemetery book says: "Mrs. Elen Ewing, d. Mar 1816, age 36 years, consort of Reuben Ewing, Esq.
In fact, a email reveals a death date of 26 Mar 1834 but no source.
