Lot of land begin NE corner of Amos Cutler, land of Benark Benson, the River, the Rhode Island state line - 100 acres. Second lot begin Massachusetts Line at NW corner of Howes land, bay line, land of Simeon Bates, the Long Pond - 40 acres. Signed: Israel Comstock, Mercy Comstock. 6 Dec 1805 Stephen Farnum of Smithfield, yeoman for $1000 to Israel Comstock of Springfield, County of Otsego, State of New York [Israel Jr.] quitclaim all right title & interest in a tract of land in Thompson containing 200 acres. NW corner of Rhode Island running to NE corner of State of Connecticut, westerly to land of Daniel Comstock, stones near Barack Bensons house, running with Bensons land. Begin NW corner of Rhode Iland State, on the Bay line to near the Turnpike road & sawmill, on the turnpike road to some apple tree, to Barack Bensons land, running down the river with the sd Bensons land. 40 acres. 12 Dec 1805 Israel Comstock of Springfield, county of Otsego, for $75 sell to Elijah Crosby of Thompson, a certain tract of five acres. Begin at black oak on South side of the road near where Israel Comstock now lives, on the state line until it comes to the land of Daniel Comstock. Signed: Israel Comstock. Wit: Philip Brown, Israel Manchester. 12 Dec 1805, personally appeared Israel Comstock. Rec. 18 Dec 1806.

26 Jan 1811 Israel Comstock Junr of Thompson, yeoman, for $600 sell to George Comstock of Thompson, yeoman [a brother] 75 acres. Begin NE corner of Connecticut, on Massachusetts line, Edward Fosters land, the old road. Signed: Israel Comstock, Jr. Wit: Israel Comstock [his father?], Simon Davis Junr. Rec. 2 Mar 1812.

15 Sep 1812 Israel & Jesse Tourtelott sell to Israel Comstock Jr. two-thirds and one-fifth of one third of several lots in Thompson. One lot is 53 acres, another 16 acres, a third 1 1/2 acres. The price was $2000.

15 Sep 1812 Israel Comstock Jr sold to Israel Tourtelott, 108 acres, for $2000. They appeared to have made a swap.

Vol. 6, p.240
2 May 1815 Israel Comstock Jr sold the remainder of the land that he had purchased from Stephen Farnum to his brother Daniel and Beni Philips of Johnson, RI for $100. Beni Philips was Daniel's son-in-law married to his daughter Olive in 1814. Boundaries include Barak Benson's house and the turnpike land. He stated it was all the land bought of Stephen Farnum not previously deeded to Daniel Comstock. Signed: Israel Comstock Jun. Wit: George Larned, David Dwight. Rec. 2 May 1815.

Vol. 6, p.276 9 Mar 1814 Israel Comstock Jr. bought two fifteenths of the land, house and barn in Thompson owned by Stephen Jacobs, Rachel Jacobs, and Lucy Otis for $300.

Vol. 6, p.277 4 Mar 1815 Israel bought 5 acres from Thomas Tourtellott for $25

Vol. 7, p.153 29 Apr 1818 Israel bought one fifteenth of a property in Thompson from Lydia Otis for $100 - this would appear to be part of the purchase of 9 Mar 1814.

Vol. 8, p.24 Rec. 1 Apr 1820. Israel Comstock sold to John Bates, 4 parcels of 53 acres, 16 acres, 1 1/2 acre, and 5 acres. Apparently tracts he bought from the Tourtelotts. This appears to be the sale of his remaining property in Thompson.
