Begin NW corner of Rhode Island State, on the Bay line to near the Turnpike road & sawmill, on the turnpike road to some apple tree, to Barack Bensons land, running down the river with the sd Bensons land. 40 acres. Thompson Deeds
Vol. 6, p.382 3 Apr 1816. Daniel Comstock sold 10 acres to Richard Hoyle, adjoining land already owned by Hoyle, for $50. Hoyle had previously bought 75 acres from Daniel's brother George. Both Daniel & George had bought their land from their brother Israel's tract - land which had been Stephen Farnum's but had been sold to Farnum by their father in 1789.
