The only documentation for the name is William's wife is that in 1744, Judith Waddell and her hands were added to the levy of Noel Waddell, a son of William. By that date William had disappeared from the Vestry records. Of course, Judith, might also have been the widow of a brother or some other relative. There is mention of the death on 5 May 1720, of John Simons, servant to Judith Waddell - this would seem to indicate she was already a widow by that date, but there seem to be no Waddell men who were deceased as early as May of 1720 except for old John Senr.

A Susana Waddill who died on 7 Mar 1721/21 as recorded at St Peters has most often been assigned as the wife of William. However, Charles Waddill is the only one who named a daughter Susana - and she could be the Susanna who died as a child.
