Mable Shaw Richmond, 96, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2011 at Van Buren Healthcare & Rehababilitation.
Mable was born June 21, 1915 in Crawford County, Arkansas; where she was a lifelong resident. She was a descendent of early Crawford County families.
Mabel was baptized at the Wood Memorial Christian Church and remained a woman of strong faith all her life. She was a homemaker and a dedicated caregiver to many.
She was the widow of Willie O. Richmond.
She was also preceded in death by a beloved niece, Tammy Harmon.
Survivors include a sister, Lucy Richmond; a brother, James Shaw; and many nieces and nephews.
She is deeply missed by her nieces, Bridget White, Alexa Sprick and Jennifer Horton. Special thanks to James White and his dedication and support in Mable's care.
Funeral service was held Thursday July 14th 2011 at 11:00am at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with Rita Manske officiating.
Burial was at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren.
