Okley married Mattie Tennessee Billingsley on 15 Oct 1916 in Jackson Co TN. She was the daughter of John Billingsley & Martha Petty. Mattie was born 15 Apr 1897, died 10 Jun 1983.

They lost a female infant born and died 10 Feb 1936. No physician was in charge & the baby lived only 5 hours. Parents listed as Oakley W. Fox and Mattie T. Billingsly. The baby was buried Flatt Cemetery.

Funeral services were held for Mr. Okley Willie Fox on Wednesday, January 18, 1978 at 10:30am in the chapel of Anderson Funeral Home by Bros. James Paul Anderson and Johnny Fox. Burial was in CREST LAWN Cemetery. Born to the late Sidney and Michel Jackson Fox on October 1, 1897. Mr. Fox died on January 16, 1978 at his home after an extended illness.
Mr. Fox is survived by his wife Mrs. Mattie Fox, Bloomington Springs; 5 sons: Collie Fox Gainesboro, Truman Fox Cookeville, Houston Fox Bloomington Springs, J.C. Fox Mt. Juliet and Junior Fox Old Hickory, 3 daughters Esteen Flatt, Evelyn Flatt Double Springs and Mazola Anderson Cookeville; 1 brother Burton Fox Cookeville, 3 sisters Ethel Flatt and Dona Mayberry Cookeville, Ina Mayberry, Ashland City; 22 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
Anderson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for Mattie T. Fox, 86, of Route 1, Bloomington Springs were held Sunday June 12, 1983, at 2pm in the chapel of Dyer Funeral Home with Brother Johnny Fox officiating. Burial was in CREST LAWN Cemetery.
Mrs. Fox, the wife of the late Okley Fox was dead on arrival at Jackson County Hospital Friday June 10. A native of Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late John and Martha Petty Billingsley. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Her family includes three daughters; Mrs. Joe Flatt, Mrs. Loid Anderson, Mrs. Harold Flatt all of Double Springs, five sons Collie Fox of Gainesboro, Truman Fox of Cookeville, Houston Fox of Bloomington Springs, J.C. Fox of Mt. Juliet and Junior Fox of Old Hickory. 22 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.
Dyer Funeral Home was in charge of arrangement.
