Mrs. Michel Jackson Fox daughter of Stanley and Sarah Jackson, was born March 9, 1867 departed this life September 10, 1948, making her stay on earth 81 years, 6 months and 1 day.
She was married to Sidney C. Fox March 6, 1884. He preceded her in death 20 years. To this union was born 10 children, two died In Infancy.
She is survived by four sons and four daughters: Leslie and Gilman Fox of Girard, Ill., Okley and Burton Fox, of Bloomington Springs, Tennessee Mrs. Claudia Chaffin, Cookeville, Mrs. Ethel Flatt and Mrs. Ina Mayberry of Gainesboro Route 3, and Mrs. Dona Mayberry of Cookeville Route 4; and 39 grandchildren and 26 greatgrandchildren.
Other survivors include four sisters and two brothers: Mrs. Sophia Aytes and Mrs. Ida Harley
of Texas; Mrs. Delia Chaffin Cottontown, Tennessee, and Mrs. Eliza Stout of Bloomington Springs, Tennessee; Bratch Jackson of Portland, Tennessee and Hazy Jackson of Cottontown, Tennessee and a host of dear friends to mourn her death.
She was baptized into the Church of Christ in early life and remained a true and faithful Christian throughout life. She was a loving mother and grandmother and loved by all who knew her and will be missed by everyone.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon September 12, 1948 at Union Church of Christ by Brothers Ardel Pippin and Baugh Smith. Burial was in FOX Cemetery on Flynn's Creek with Whitson Funeral Home in Charge.

Michel's death certificate does give her parents as Stanley Jackson and Sarah Birdwell. She was buried Fox Cemetery on the 12th of September 1948. Her husband listed as Sidney C. Fox. She died of cornary occlusion.
