Dona married Dave Argo Mayberry on 10 Oct 1915, Jackson Co TN. Dave was a brother to Gene Mayberry that married Dona's sister Ina. Both were sons of Francis Mayberry & Prillie Gentry. Dave was born 2 Oct 1896, died 20 Feb 1965.
Dona either fudged a bit when she told the census enumerator her age, or she married at age 13.

Funeral services for Dona Mayberry, 91, of Cookeville were conducted Thursday February 3, at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Hooper and Huddleston Funeral Home with Bro. Lorne Crossman officiating. Interment was in Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Cookeville.
Mrs. Mayberry passed away Tuesday February 1, in the Cookeville Nursing Home. She was a homemaker. married at Antioch Church by Marion Bullington, J.P., witness L.J. Johnson and Henry Flatt
Born March 26, 1902 in Jackson Count, she was the daughter of the late Sidney C. Fox and Michel Jackson Fox and the widow of Dave Mayberry.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter Mildred Pippin, and a grandson, Ray Mayberry.
Survivors include one son, Morgan Mayberry of Cookeville, one grandson Robert Mayberry, Athens, and three great-grandchildren, Vincent, Juleah and Sarah Mayberry.
Serving as pallbearers were Lee Lemonds, Collie and Truman Fox, Terry Flatt, Hollis Chaffin and Virgil Medlin.
Hooper and Huddleston Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangement.
