Peggy Pippin

Peggy married to a Garrett. Her father Joseph made a bequest to his granddaughter Polly Garrett in his will of 23 Apr 1791. In 1806, Peggy was named as Peggy Garrett in the division of the estate of her brother John. Then in the specific allocation she was named as "Peggy Garret, now Peggy Davis. It is possible she was also the parent of Caleb Davis, another grandchild named in the will of Joseph Pippin. However, Peggy continued to be listed as Peggy Garrett on the 1810 census and in an 1815 estate settlement of Robert Broadstreet to whom she was indebted one pound. Her sister Patience Davis also shared in the estate of the brother.
