Mrs. Waite Caproon, 62, died at her home228 North Twelfth street, this morning at 7:15 o'clock, of dropsy. she was born in Howard County and came to Elwood with her husband, Abraham Caproon, in 1912. He died the following year since which time she has made her home with her son. Six children survive, Mrs. Olive Altaugh, Mrs. Alve Walker and John Caproon of Elwood; Ellsworth, of Illinois; Mrs. Myrtle Goins of Wisconsin; and Mrs. Frances McAlpine of Indianapolis. The funeral services will be conducted at the home Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock, burial following in the city cemetery.
