Edward Benton

Edward married (2) Anne. She died 22 Aug 1671.
Edward's son Edward was baptized 28 Jan 1638 and that is the last record of the Bentons in the Epping Parish registers. When he died in 1698, he was aged 60 years. Presumably the year of his birth, 1638, was the year his father and Andrew Benton came to America. By 1639, Andrew was part of the Rev. Peter Prudden's party from Wethersfield to Milford. In that year, or the following year, Edward also removed from Wethersfield to Guilford where his daughter Hannah was born - Hannah was baptized 28 Sep 1640.
