Missing from the Parish registers are the entries for appoximately eight years, during this time Daniel and Andrew were born. Both died in Guilford. Daniel has been placed as the elder because his marriage in 1658 was seven years earlier than his brother's in 1665 and his name occurs first in the record of their oath of fidelity, 4 May 1654.
Daniel married 23 Nov 1658, Rachel Goodrich [Gutridge]. Rachel died Oct of 1685.
Daniel and Rachel were the ancestral line of a Myron B. Benton, late of Amenia NY, deceased [before 1906 when the book was written]. Myron was born 1834 at Amenia.
