Said to have married Sarah Royal about 1747. Sarah said born 26 Feb 1730/1 in Chesterfield Co VA. Sarah was a daughter of Joseph & Sarah Baxter Royal. [Chesterfield not formed until 1749 from Henrico Co]
Nathaniel is said born in Halifax but that is also incorrect - the area that became Halifax was Brunswick Co in 1725.


The following would appear to be a distribution to cousins of Nathaniel, but I don't know quite how Nathaniel had the right to do so. Perhaps it was just a gift.

I don't know if this is the same Nathaniel Terry. William Terry, Executor, could have been the above cousin.
