Champness Terry wrote his will 18 Mar 1757 in Fredericksville Parish, Louisa Co VA. One note says proved May Court 1758 by wife Christian; another note says recorded 25 Mar 1758 - since it could not be recorded until proved, one of these dates is in error.
Louisa Co VA, WB 1, p.42 [Online Transcript of the Will is incomplete with many missing words] Names sons Thomas and Joseph to be Executors. Son William Terry to receive 200 acres of land purchased of brother James Terry. A tract called the "three lots" to be laid off in parallet lines, approximately 200 acres in each. Son Joseph, the 1st choice of lots and a gun. Son Thomas, the next choice and a Rifle. Son Henry the 3rd choice. Son David the last lot. [four divisions] All the rest to Wife during her widowhood, but after her death to be equally divided among Daughters. Wit: Benjamin Bibb, Mary Bibb, William Thomson

A nephew, seems to have distributed land to four sons of Champness, Henry is missing and was not deceased - perhaps this was a gift as there's no indication that Nathaniel had issue.
