Lucy said to be the daughter of Creed Haskins. Some databases, including DAR application papers, state that she was Lucy Creed. Matthew Tanner is thought by some to have been the son of Joseph Tanner of Henrico & Amelia Counties and those researchers say that Joseph was married to a Lucy Creed. There seems to be little doubt that somewhere in the family was the surname Creed.
