Francis WEST
(1586 - 1634)
Francis was also a member of the Virginia Company of Londan and came to Virginia with Capt Christopher Newport about July 1608. He was elected to the Governor's Council. He was then elected Governor of Virginia on 14 Nov 1627 and served two years; he then served again on the Council until his death.
