Death of an Aged Lady - Mrs. Maria Cook Maxcy, wife of James Maxcy, esq., died last night, at the ripe age of 83 years. She had, with her husband, been a resident of this city for many years. Publ. in IL State Register, Springfield, IL, Monday, 5-8-1876.

Died, on Sunday, at 10 1/2 o'clock p.m., Mrs. Maria Cook Maxcy, wife of James Maxcy, in the 83rd year of her age. Funeral tomorrow, May 9th, from the residence of J. C. Maxcy. Friends are invited to attend. Publ. in the IL State Register, Springfield, IL, Monday, 5-8-1876.
