Capt Robert Anderson

Robert was a Vestryman at St. Peter's Parish 1702 and then St. Paul's in 1705. He was a Captain for New Kent Co [presumably militia] from 1705 -1713. He was a Justice in New Kent in 1714. Widow, Mary, is cited in processioning of her land. He took up 727 acres in New Kent which had been relinquished by his father and also received 1200 acres for the import of 24 persons on 23 Oct 1690. Nine sons are known.

p.74 April 3d 1716 Orderd that Wm Harris be Elected a Vestry man for this parish in the room of Capt Robt Anderson lately Deceas’d.
He had been present last on 15 October 1715.
