Most of the Starns researchers have assumed Mary/Milly/Molly is the same as the Minta Starnes that married Roger Murphy in Charleston on 7 Oct 1791 as that marriage does fall between the dates of her father's and mother's wills. Father Ebenezer gave no married names for his daughters in his will, but they certainly could have been married and probably were by then. The marriage record in Charleston is Minta Starnes, WIDOW, leading one to believe that lady cannot be the same as this Mary. Since Roger Murphy's wife was a Mary in North Carolina, possibly he married two Starnes ladies. Perhaps Mary "Molly" was married to one of Roger Murphy's sons - not the son also named Roger, however, as his wife was Nancy Wilson.
