Probably from an obituary:
Elizabeth Butterfield, died May, 22. 1883 age 74y 1m. Her maiden name was Avery and she married Green Butterfield in Columbus, Ohio. They came to Ill. in 1834 and settled in Schuyler Co. until 1845 when they moved to where Galesburg now stands, but which was almost trackless prairie. In 1861 they moved to Macomb where her husband died shortly after arriving here. They were a family of 10 children of which two survive, Mrs. George Gloyd and G.G. Butterfield.
