Anna Echols
(Abt 1764 - Aug 1806)
[I believe the birth years for the last two daughters are too late; they were likely a few years older.]
Anna Echols [838.5.10] (-1806) married James Daniel who left a will in Halifax County naming four sons and a daughter (will dated 22 May 1781, recorded 15 Nov. 1781).
According to a British merchant claim, James “died before the conclusion of the war, possessed of a small estate but not sufficient to satisfy the debt,” and was insolvent in 1783.
His family moved to Wilkes County, Georgia, where his wife left a will (will dated 20 Aug. 1806, recorded 3 Nov. 1806).
